AI visibility tool pricing (2026): 18 tools on one table
Eighteen AI visibility tools, one table: what each costs to start, what the top plan costs, which engines the entry plan checks, whether there is a trial, and whether it can fix anything. Every row comes from the vendor's own pages.
How much does an AI visibility tool cost in 2026?
On the prices published on 26 September 2026, an AI visibility tool costs about $17 to $59 a month for most entry trackers, $95 to $295 a month for the mid-market plans most teams buy, and $780 to $1,499 a month for the largest published standalone plans. A few entry plans sit higher (Scrunch Core $250, AthenaHQ Starter $295, Goodie Core $478.80), HubSpot bundles its AEO features into a suite from $3,600, and enterprise-only vendors quote by contract. The ranges come from the table below.
- Entry trackers, $17 to $59 a month: Rankscale ($17, billed yearly only), Otterly.AI ($29), Stellarcast Lite ($39), HubSpot AEO standalone ($50) and Knowatoa ($59). Most check three to six engines; Rankscale is the outlier at 21.
- Mid-market plans, $95 to $295 a month: Surfer and Peec AI ($95), Writesonic and SE Ranking ($99), Ahrefs Brand Radar ($129), Semrush ($139 for its SEO plan with AI tracking, $199 with a daily prompt quota), Stellarcast Growth ($249), Scrunch Core ($250) and AthenaHQ Starter ($295).
- Largest published plans, $780 to $1,499 a month: Rankscale Enterprise ($780), Goodie Pro ($1,198.80), Stellarcast Agency Scale ($1,499) and Ahrefs Enterprise ($1,499 on annual billing). Most other vendors' top self-serve tier lands between $199 and $699. HubSpot sells its AEO features inside Marketing Hub Enterprise, from $3,600 a month.
- Enterprise, by contract: Profound (for brands), Conductor, Bluefish and Brandlight publish no price. Evertune lists Starter at $60 a month and Pro at $800, both billed annually, with Pro sold through sales.

Most discount annual prepayment. We did not verify minimum terms, which sit in each vendor's checkout, so confirm there before you buy.
What Stellarcast costs. The entry plan is Lite at $39 a month for 15 tracked prompts across six engines, billed monthly, cancel anytime; paid annually it is $34 a month. Approved fixes sent to WordPress as drafts start on Starter at $89 a month, and Enterprise is quoted. See the plans.
Most AI visibility tools now publish a price, but the sticker rarely tells you what you get. Two tools at the same price can differ in how many AI engines they check, how many markets they cover, and whether they can fix anything or only report it. This page lays the whole category out on one table, from each vendor's own pricing page, checked on 26 September 2026.
We make one of these tools (Stellarcast), so read our row with that in mind. We've tried to make every other row something its own vendor would recognise. If you spot something that has changed, email hello@stellarcast.ai and we'll correct it.
Stellarcast checks six AI engines daily on every plan from $39 a month (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot), sends approved fixes to WordPress as drafts from $89, and labels every lift claim MEASURED, LIKELY or TOO-EARLY, so a result is never reported with more confidence than the evidence supports.
The table
Prices are in US dollars, per month, on monthly billing where the vendor publishes it; most offer a discount for paying annually. "Engines" is what the entry plan checks, because that is where tools differ most.

What the entry price hides
Four things decide what a plan is actually worth. Check each one before you compare stickers.
- Engines per plan. Many tools advertise ten engines and include three on the plan you can afford. Otterly charges extra for Gemini and Google AI Mode, Peec lets you pick three and sells the rest per model, and Writesonic and HubSpot track three engines below Enterprise. If your buyers use Google, check that both AI Overviews and AI Mode are included.
- Markets. The answer a buyer gets in Berlin is not the answer they get in Dubai. Several self-serve plans cover a single country (Peec Starter, Writesonic's self-serve plans, AthenaHQ Starter), with more markets reserved for higher tiers.
- Fixing, not just reporting. A dashboard that shows a gap still leaves someone to write and ship the fix. Profound, AthenaHQ, Writesonic, Knowatoa, Goodie and Stellarcast can publish approved changes to a CMS; most others stop at recommendations or content briefs, and several only do it on their top tier.
- Proof. Almost every tool shows trends. Few say how they decide that a change caused a lift, or how sure they are. Ask to see the method before you rely on a number in front of your CMO.

How to choose
- You just want to know if AI mentions you. Start with a budget tracker (Rankscale, Otterly) or a free audit. Upgrade once you know which prompts matter.
- You already live in Semrush, Ahrefs or HubSpot. Their AI add-ons are the least friction, but check the engine list and whether you can act on what you see.
- You need gaps fixed and the result proven. Compare the tools that publish to your CMS on price per engine, markets included and how they prove lift. That is the case Stellarcast is built for: see the plans.
- You are an enterprise with procurement requirements. Profound, Conductor, Evertune and Bluefish sell through sales, with broader engine and language coverage and enterprise security.

How much do AI visibility tools cost in 2026?
Most entry trackers cost $17 to $59 a month (Rankscale $17 billed yearly, Otterly.AI $29, Stellarcast Lite $39, HubSpot AEO $50, Knowatoa $59); a few entry plans sit higher (Scrunch Core $250, AthenaHQ Starter $295, Goodie Core $478.80). Mid-market plans run $95 to $295 a month, and the largest published standalone plans $780 to $1,499. Profound for brands, Conductor and Bluefish price by contract, and Evertune publishes Starter at $60 and Pro at $800 a month, both billed annually, with Pro sold through sales. Checked 26 September 2026; Rankscale and Evertune re-checked 17 October 2026.
How much does AI visibility optimization cost?
It comes in two parts. The tool that measures your visibility costs $17 to $59 a month for most entry trackers on published prices, with a few entry plans up to $478.80 and enterprise contracts above that (checked 26 September 2026). The optimization itself, writing and publishing the content changes, is either your own team's time or an agency's fee, and many agencies price that by scope rather than publishing a rate. Some tools also draft the fix and send it to your CMS after your approval, which moves part of that work into the subscription: Stellarcast does this from its $89 Starter plan, sending each approved fix to WordPress as a draft for you to publish.
Which AI visibility tools offer monthly billing with no contract?
On the pricing pages we read on 26 September 2026, Rankscale, Otterly.AI, HubSpot AEO, Knowatoa, Surfer, Peec AI, Semrush, Writesonic, SE Ranking, Ahrefs, Scrunch, AthenaHQ, Goodie, Profound (agency client workspaces only) and Stellarcast each published a self-serve per-month plan you can buy without talking to sales. We did not verify minimum terms, which sit in each vendor's checkout. Stellarcast is billed monthly, cancel anytime, from $39 a month, or $34 a month paid annually. Profound for brands, Conductor and Bluefish sell by contract, and Evertune publishes Starter at $60 and Pro at $800 a month, both billed annually, with Pro sold through sales.
What does enterprise AI visibility software usually cost?
Among standalone tools, the largest published plans run from $780 a month (Rankscale Enterprise) to $1,499 (Stellarcast Agency Scale, and Ahrefs Enterprise on annual billing), with Goodie Pro at $1,198.80; most vendors' top self-serve tier lands between $199 and $699. HubSpot bundles its AEO features into Marketing Hub Enterprise from $3,600 a month. Vendors that sell only by contract, including Profound for brands, Conductor and Bluefish, quote after a demo, and Evertune publishes Starter at $60 and Pro at $800 a month, both billed annually, with Pro sold through sales. Quotes usually scale with tracked prompts, markets, engines and seats. As published on 26 September 2026; Evertune re-checked 17 October 2026.
What is the cheapest AI visibility tool?
Rankscale's Essentials plan is listed at $17 a month, billed yearly only ($20 list price; its monthly Pro plan is $99), and Otterly.AI Lite is $29. AthenaHQ has a free tier with limited credits, and Stellarcast offers a free one-off audit with no card.
Which AI visibility tools can fix issues, not just report them?
As of 26 September 2026, Profound, AthenaHQ, Writesonic, Knowatoa, Goodie and Stellarcast can push approved changes into a CMS, often only on higher tiers. Stellarcast sends approved fixes to WordPress as drafts, ready for you to publish, from its $89 Starter plan.
Which engines should an AI visibility tool track?
At minimum ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and both of Google's AI surfaces, AI Overviews and AI Mode, since Google reaches the most buyers. Check which engines the plan you are buying includes, not the vendor's headline list.
How often are these prices checked?
This page was checked against each vendor's own pages on 26 September 2026, and the Semrush, Ahrefs, Rankscale, AthenaHQ, Evertune, Scrunch, Profound and Peec AI rows were re-checked on 17 October 2026. Pricing in this category changes often; confirm with the vendor before you buy, and tell us at hello@stellarcast.ai if a row is out of date.
