Peec AI alternatives (2026): priced, with engines per plan
Peec AI is a well-liked, analytics-first monitor, and for many teams it is the right call. People look elsewhere when they want more engines on an entry plan, more than one market, or fixes shipped rather than listed.
Peec AI is clean, focused competitive monitoring, and its agency packaging is strong: unlimited client workspaces and free 7-day pitch projects on its agency plans. If your job is to watch AI answers and report on them, it does that well. The reasons teams switch are about what sits around the monitoring: how many engines the entry plan covers, how many markets, and who does the work once a gap is found. This guide groups the alternatives by the reason you'd switch. Every fact comes from each vendor's own pages, checked on 26 September 2026, with Semrush, AthenaHQ, Ahrefs, Rankscale, Scrunch and Profound re-checked on 17 October 2026.
Our bias, stated up front: Stellarcast is our product, and it is one of the options below. We've kept every other entry to what its own site says. For the same comparison written from the enterprise side, see our Profound alternatives guide.
Stellarcast checks Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot daily on every plan from $39 a month, rather than asking you to pick three. From $89 it drafts fixes and publishes the ones you approve to WordPress, and from $249 it labels every lift claim MEASURED, LIKELY or TOO-EARLY.
Why teams look beyond Peec AI
- Three engines on self-serve plans. Starter lets you pick three of six engines; each extra model costs $30 to $140 a month. Choosing between ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Copilot is a hard call when your buyers use all three.
- One country on Starter. More markets need a higher plan.
- It reports; you do the work. Peec has no built-in publishing, so every fix is a manual job.

If you want six engines on the entry plan, with no picking, plus fixes: Stellarcast
Stellarcast is built around a loop: monitor, diagnose, execute, prove. Every paid plan checks Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot daily, so there is no engine to choose between and no per-model add-on. Diagnosis turns those results into specific gaps: a buyer question where a competitor is named and you are not.
From the $89 Starter plan, Stellarcast drafts a fix for each gap. Nothing publishes until you approve it, every approval is recorded with the change it made, and approved fixes go live on WordPress. From Growth ($249), every lift claim sits in a ledger labeled MEASURED, LIKELY or TOO-EARLY, so you never report a number you can't defend. See the plans.
Where Peec is the better fit: it offers Naver AI, which Stellarcast does not run, and its agency plans include unlimited client workspaces. Our Agency plan ($599) instead pools one tracked-prompt allowance across client brands.
If you need more than one market: Stellarcast or Profound
Peec's Starter covers one country, and AthenaHQ's Starter plan is also single-market, with multiple countries an Enterprise feature. On Stellarcast, adding a market draws on your tracked-prompt allowance: each prompt tracked in each market counts once against your plan's tracked-prompt allowance, and each market is measured with native-language prompts.
If you need very broad language coverage and a sales-led contract suits you, Profound lists 30+ languages, and nine engines on Enterprise, after a free 7-day trial. Our Profound alternatives guide covers what sits around it.
If budget is the constraint: Otterly.AI or Rankscale
Otterly's Lite plan is $29 a month and includes ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, with Gemini, AI Mode and Claude as paid add-ons; it offers a 14-day trial with no card. Rankscale's Essentials plan is $17 a month billed yearly only ($20 list; Pro is $99) and covers 21 engines on every plan, though engines consume credits at different rates. Both cost well under Peec's $95 Starter. Neither publishes fixes to your site; both are trackers first, so they suit a team whose only problem with Peec is the price.
If you already pay for an SEO or marketing suite: Semrush, Ahrefs or HubSpot
Semrush now sells its AI Visibility Toolkit inside its plans: the $139 a month SEO plan includes AI search tracking, and the $199 Starter plan adds 50 tracked prompts a day on one domain across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google Search, with no engines to pick (the standalone $99 per-domain toolkit we listed on 26 September no longer appears on its pricing page as of 17 October 2026). Ahrefs Brand Radar combines a large pre-built index of AI answers (the AI Visibility Index from $199 a month; custom prompt packages from $50 a month, or $699 for all models) with custom prompts on its paid plans, from $129 a month with 5 custom prompts. HubSpot AEO offers low-cost tracking inside HubSpot from $50 a month across three engines.
Each is strongest when you want AI visibility next to data your team already uses. Semrush and Ahrefs don't describe publishing fixes, so like Peec, the change is still yours to make.
If you want actions on a Shopify or Webflow site: AthenaHQ
AthenaHQ has a free Essential tier and a $295 Starter plan tracking 11 engines, and its plans page lists on-page and off-page actions with Shopify and Webflow integrations (the eight-CMS list we saw on 26 September no longer appears there as of 17 October 2026). That reaches Shopify and Webflow sites where Stellarcast sends drafts to WordPress, and it is the answer to Peec's lack of publishing if your site runs elsewhere. Its Starter plan covers a single market.
Writesonic, Knowatoa and Goodie also publish approved changes to a CMS, usually on their higher tiers. The question to ask any tool that drafts and publishes: does the pipeline start from the prompts you are losing, and can it show afterwards whether a published change moved anything? Drafting and publishing are the easy half.
If you want AI agents to see an optimized site: Scrunch
Scrunch Core is $250 a month for 125 prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot. Its distinctive idea, on Enterprise, is serving an AI-optimized copy of your site to AI agents at the edge without changing the site people see. That is a different bet from publishing fixes: instead of changing your pages, it changes what agents are served. Choose it if that edge approach is what you are after and the Enterprise tier fits your budget.
How to choose
- Stay with Peec AI if three engines cover your buyers, analytics is the job and you value unlimited client workspaces; switching has a cost.
- Pick a budget tracker if you only need to know whether AI mentions you.
- Pick an SEO-suite add-on if your team lives in Semrush, Ahrefs or HubSpot.
- Pick AthenaHQ if you want actions taken on a Shopify or Webflow site.
- Pick Stellarcast if you need every engine we run on the entry plan, gaps fixed and the lift proven, at a public price.
